Full Tilt is home to many poker pros and lots of tournaments. The promotions are excellent, especially if you are an everyday player. It is a big site with high traffic, but the action is good and there is a lot to do if you are the type to get bored easily with the same old tourneys.

The FT software application is probably one of the most developed you will find. The graphics are great, as are the customizable options such as backgrounds and color choices. You can also select your own avatar, which makes for some interesting characters. The play is fast and user-friendly. The download is quick, but if you’re still not sure, you can take a virtual tour of the site before you download.

Traffic (8)

Full Tilt is one of the most rapidly growing sites on the Net. Unlike other online poker rooms, you will find more traffic at the Omaha tables. The most players are, obviously, at the No Limit Texas Hold ‘em tables. At most times you will find anywhere from 20-30,000 players at Full Tilt, and a little over half of that traffic is tournament players. During peak times, however, you may find up to 70,000 players on this site.

You can play no limit, fixed limit, and pot limit on tables that range from as little as $0.05/$0.1 to as high as $1000/$2000. You can also play in tournaments with buy-ins starting at $0 + $0.10 or tournaments that can cost as much as $5000 + $200.

Despite the extensive list of poker pros and the 100 hours of promised pro play time at Full Tilt, the growing popularity of the site has resulted in more and more fish, even at higher limit tables, although you can find some serious players here too.

FTPs are accumulated at the rate of 1 per $1 in rake collected (adjusted when rake is less than $1), up to 3 points per hand. You can also earn FTPs by playing in tournaments. $1 in tournament fees = 7 FTPs. Every point you earn is worth $0.06 in bonus cash. You will then be given this money in increments of 10% of your first deposit, or $20, whichever comes first. So a $100 initial deposit bonus will be released in $10 increments, whereas a $600 initial deposit bonus will be released in $20 increments. FT gives you 120 to clear this bonus.
