The professional tutorials are pretty cool, as is the software and the ambiance at Bovada. There’s nothing fancy here, but there’s reliable and secure poker, so for serious poker players, that’s should be enough. This poker room seems less personable than other rooms that are strictly devoted to poker. Bovada has a lot of ground to cover with their casino, sportsbook, and racebook, but the poker itself is perfectly adequate with lots of good action.

Continuously updated, the Bovada poker software is fast and functional with all the features you’d expect. The sleek and simple table design with “spotlight on the action” makes it very easy to play here for long periods of time, but you can only play on three tables at once, which some find annoying.

Up to 10,000 players can be found here at the busiest times, which is pretty good for a poker room that draws its own crowd without network sharing with other rooms. At less-than-busy times, though, there may be a thousand players on a good day. It’s a nice-sized room; not too big; not too small.
